UFO Sightings Prairies
Summary
Study Overview
 
This study documents sightings of UFO (UAPs) in the Canadian Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
 
Data was collected from January 01, 1990, to December 31, 2025.
 
The primary data source is Canadian UFO Survey, and additional data collected from MUFON, UFO Stalker, and Enigma (if not reported in CUFOR).
 
Data not reported by CUFOS added from Engima Labs pre-2018.
Data not reported by CUFOS added from UFO Stalker pre-2023.
CUFOS began data collection in 1989.
Mufon has no data viewed in their database online previous to 1995.
UFO Stalker began data collection in 2022.
 
Both Engima and UFO Stalker uses a map showing location and details of the sighting.
NUFORC uses a map showing site location.
 
Enigma has an app for Android and IPhone that you can view all sightings and report a sighting.
 
Data excluded from the study:
abductions,
animal mutilations,
crop circles,
ETI contact,
ETI observed,
fireballs,
identified as non-UFO,
Starlink satellites.

The main research focuses on number of occurrences, dates, and times, the form of the object observed is
           secondary to the reseach and used as a reference.

No studies or reports were found in the literature and the web specifically for the prairie provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
 
When conducting this study, an exhaustive search of the web was done.
 
It was found few websites contained Canadian information pre 1995. Data was consistently collected from 1995 on.
